I doubt that you'll have to worry about people here getting all elitist about comics XDD;;

And... I'm not sure, but does Victoria Frances' Favole series count?  It's not really a comic in the typical sense... but it's sort of like a series of illustrations that tell a story, and I think it's published by a company that does comic books.  I think that a lot of people are familiar with her work now, but if you're not, then you can view most of it on her site.

Anyway... I need to read more comics, but I know very little about western comics, so... >O>

And I still need to read Filler Bunny...

Edit: And I only meant that we should fix up the manga forum to include ALL forms of comics so that it's not limited just to manga.  Rather than make a whole new section for it... because we tend to make forums... and then forget about them after a while >_>

Of COURSE they count.It's narrative art.

Personally when i do comics, I like to draw them without words....XD

The Arrival by Shaun Tan is one of my fav.The artist is amazing.And the book uses NO words.

And yeah..i agree is would be easier to just put manga in the comics section.I think we do need 10 ppl minimum to start a section... am I correct?
